Grandad Making Memories

The post WW2 areas included the early Cold War , Korea , Vietnam , and the Iraq wars , and the War on Terror post 9/11.

The Korean War area had a really good display on the battles at the Chosin reservoir. This was a battle fir in the extremes of the Korean winter in the mountains . When I entered the display I was hit by a blast of cold air and the temperature was certainly chilly. There was a really good sound and light show as well .

Next up was the Vietnam section – a war I remember on the TV

The Khe Sahn recreation was really well done .
